Guidance and support

Juvenile Justice Mental Health Services

Adolescence can be a challenging time, and when a young person is involved in the juvenile justice system, those challenges can seem even more overwhelming and insurmountable. At CPE, we help guide and support youth between the ages of 12 and 19 as they navigate this critical phase of growing up.

In partnership with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, we provide outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment services for youth who are either on probation or participating in a diversion program in the 20th Judicial Circuit (Charlotte, Lee, Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties). Our goal is to empower these young people, helping them access the tools and skills they need to create a brighter future beyond the justice system.

Empowering Young People & Building Resilience

We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the needs of each young person, including:

  • Individual Counseling
  • Family Counseling
  • Personalized Treatment Plans
  • Evaluations
  • Clinical Case Management

All our services are provided under the supervision of a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Social Worker with CPE, ensuring that every young person has access to the highest level of care possible. Referrals to the program must be made by a Juvenile Probation Officer (JPO) through the approved process.

We collaborate closely with each youth, their caregivers, and the JPO so they receive the appropriate care and support they need. Through personalized counseling, treatment planning, and case management, we empower adolescents and teens to build resilience, make positive life changes, and develop the skills to succeed outside the justice system.
